Philippe Silberzahn is associate professor at EMLYON Business School and a visiting professor at HEC Paris and CEDEP. His expertise lies at the intersection of strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship. He studies how organisations can transform themselves to cope with uncertainty, disruption and strategic surprises. He has authored and co-authored several books in French and English as well as numerous academic articles on these topics. From 2004 to 2009, he was a research associate at INSEAD, one of the world’s leading business schools in Fontainebleau, France.
As a consultant, keynote speaker and management trainer, he has been working for more than 15 years at the C-level with major international organisations in various sectors. Prior to his academic career, he acquired over twenty years of industrial experience as an entrepreneur and CEO, participating in the creation or acquisition of four high-tech companies and as an international consultant in India, China, Europe and the United States.
Philippe has a PhD from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France, an MSc in artificial intelligence from the University of Caen, France, an MS in management from the Sorbonne University and an MBA from the London Business School.
