Thomas Hellwig is an adjunct professor for organisational behaviour at INSEAD and an experienced executive coach, researcher, independent consultant, teacher and program director, designing learning journeys for senior executives from a wide range of different organisations and sectors. He is passionate about interactive teaching including classroom, virtual, hybrid and experiential learning methods.
He regularly teaches in the MBA, open enrolment, and company specific programs at INSEAD. His special interests include executive teams, leading change, organisational culture and executive health and stress.
Thomas is also an experienced medical emergency doctor and a practicing clinical physician. He has a double degree as a medical doctor and a doctorate in psychotherapy as well as a business degree (MBA from INSEAD). Thomas leverages his first-hand experience and insights from managing high-performing medical teams in stressful situations (emergency, cardiology and cancer medicine). His doctorate in psychotherapy allows him to have the depth and experience to help his clients handle difficult psychological situations.
Thomas lives in France and speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
